Planner Time

Finally have some time to sit and blog.
Funny, blogging used to be what I did a lot of.
Now I really have to work at fitting time in for it!

That's what I love about making my planner pretty.
Combines my love for crafting and planners all in one!

Aren't these papers pretty?!
They are older ones and I could just sit and stare at them :)
The papers are Sweet Routine from Webster's Pages.

I of course added some Unity stamps.
The image is the Hello Love set and the
sentiments are from the Dream of Being set.
I like to mount my images on foam squares.

Wednesday is Anti-Bully Day so the Unity sentiment and Hero Arts image worked well.
Every Saturday morning my mom comes over for coffee, I have tea of course.
And the running is working out well.
I started back into it last week and managed to fit in 2 days of running
and three of walking.

This week is a busy Jamberry week for me - 3 parties!
Nothing better than getting paid to party and have pretty nails though :)

As always I have tossed in some other stamps.
So fun, and now...

my youngest daughter is having fun stamping and stickering her planner!

Be You - a card to inspire you

I don't often post my craft projects here as I do have a craft blog
which you can check out here.
Over there I post my cards, layouts and altered items.

Today however, I decided to post my card.
It kind of goes with the theme of this blog.

I used a paper collection that I just love: Cottage Living
Of course since I am on their Design Team,
I always use Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L for my projects :)

One of the only times that I decided to decorate the inside of my card.
I generally leave them blank.
However this stamp set by The Ton,
was too perfect not to include.

If you would like more detail as to how I created the card,
please hop on over to my crafty blog.

How to Keep Nails Healthy and Protected from Damage

Do you have dry, brittle, peeling nails?
Did you know there is an easy way to keep your nails healthy and protect them from damage?

As a nail biting tomboy, blessed with the wrinkly hand gene,
I always just assumed that I was meant to have ugly and soft nails.
Of course as an adult with a degree in Nutrition,
I do know that we have to nourish ourselves from the inside out.

However, sometimes something a little extra just might be the trick.

Well you are in luck....

Nail Health Expert Doug Schoon, who has a master's degree in Chemistry and is the president of Schoon Scientific - gives some great tips on how to keep your nails healthy and help protect them from damage. I bet there are some things you didn't know!

Planner Time

What a whirlwind of a week it was last week!
From shopping out of town, to heading out of town for a Jamberry Summit,
talking my grand daughter to a doctor.... it goes on
I spent most of my off time, catching up around the house and with my business.
I didn't have a lot of play time.

This week has started much better :)
After creating some cards for design team work,
I managed to get my planner pages done for this week.
This week I used the Office Suite by Fancy Pants,
The Renee Girl by Unity, along with some stamps from Studio L2E and Simon Says

This is a bit of a slower week for me,
so I plan on getting caught up office wise,
getting into regular running again,
and hopefully working on some home projects (decor and organizing)

Thank goodness for a planner to help with all of that!

Oh and I have to add, by 11:00 this morning,
I had created 4 cards,
completed these planner pages
and did a quick run!

Now that is how to start a week.
Tonight hubby and I are heading out for a Valentine's Day Dinner!
That is of course after hanging out with our grand daughter at our house :)
