Planner Time

Planner Time again.
I know I have missed a couple of weeks.
Life has been very busy and weekends are usually my crafty time.
However, my grand daughter has been sleeping over....
thus... so much for the crafty time :)

Anyhow onto the planner.

Once again I used an Angie Girl by Unity (Jessica Girl), all decked out in green using old papers from Crate Paper.
Of course the stamps are once again from Studio L2E and Technique Tuesday.

This week, I added some holiday stickers from SRM Stickers.... that was easy ;)

Lots of things to catch up on this week,
as well as get ahead of as we will be in GREECE next week!
Woot, woot!
Can't wait!

Spring Forward with an Amazing DIY Pedicure

Amazing DIY Pedicure.
Yes it is possible!
Last spring I went for my first pedicure..... yes I know,
 what took me so long.
And yes I loved it.
However, I decided to try to do my own pedi when it was time for a new one.

The Indulgence Kit Hand Care Kit is what I used
and I was VERY happy with the results.
My feet were so soft... dare I say baby bum soft?!

Seriously it is simple.

Just a few easy steps, but of course my favorite is the last one:

In my case...
I am heading to GREECE!!!

So I just did my pedicure and can't wait to strap on my sandals

I used the Knockout Lacquer...feels kinda Greek to me :)

What will you need?

Deluxe Tool Kit - for an absolute salon quality pedicure
Base Coat - I like the Smoothing Base Coat on my toes
Lacquer in your choice of color
Exfoliating Tool - I use the Norwex Foot Stone it works amazingly well!

Oh and one more thing... a nice glass of wine to enjoy while you soak your feet :)

How to do the pedicure is at the end of the post so be sure to keep reading.

Of course you can purchase all of the Jamberry items from my website.
But I have a better deal for you,
host a party and earn them for free or half price!

I have a  Super Special Deal if you book an April party..... contact me for details!!!

Are you still with me?
Here is how easy it is to give yourself an in home pedicure,
what will you do with the money you save?

As with any pedicure be sure to remove your old lacquer. Our lacquer remover is amazing and works fantastic for our wraps too!
Note: I do this pedicure once a week and I don't always remove my lacquer, sometimes I just want to do the pedi so my feet feel baby soft.

Be sure to have a glass of wine while you sit and relax for the full experience.
You're going to start your pedicure with a relaxing soak, for which you will need the epsom salt, baking soda, and essential oil.

Grab a pair of nail clippers and cut your nails to the desired length and shape. Fill a basin with warm water, then add in one cup epsom salt, one teaspoon of baking soda, and four or five drops of essential oil, then stir together.
I like to use Peppermint Oil if my feet are tired (eg after a long work day, gardening day..., lavender oil before bedtime to help me sleep).
Soak for about 10 - 15 minutes

Clean feet with the Jamberry Cleanse from the Indulgence set.
The cleanse is an invigorating light citrus-scented hand soap that gently cleanses hands and feet and preps the skin for exfoliation.

Using your foot file, exfoliate off any callouses or rough patches.

Now you'll want to scrub your feet with a sugar scrub. Rub the sugar scrub over your calves and feet to exfoliate any remaining dead skin. Wash off the scrub thoroughly, then dry feet with a towel.

Guess what the Buff Sugar Scrub in the Indulgence set is perfect! It is formulated to leave your hands (and feet) feeling silky smooth. It is enriched with Rosemary, Vitamin E and Coconut Oil.

A little tidbit for you: Rosemary's herbaceous and energizing scent is
frequently used in aromatherapy to combat nervous
tension and fatigue and of course I am sure you have heard about the benefits of coconut oil.

Now it is important to clean up the cuticles both in manis and pedis.
If you are using the Jamberry wraps, you will get a much better adhesion if you remove the invisible cuticle.

The Cuticle Remover pen gently removes dead and dry cuticles. It is a special formula in a convenient click pen for precise application.

Be sure the nails are clean so using the Jamberry Nail Cleanser would be used prior to applying the lacquers and such.

You can use wraps, lacquer or mix and match them both. I do suggest a sprinkling of the design dimensions for a truly professional touch.

For your polish, choose a hue that will really pop on your toes and To keep your pedicure looking fresh and lasting longer apply a top coat and cuticle oil every two days (I like to add some Tea Tree oil to our Cuticle Oil for extra healthy nails).

As a final touch that will have your feet feeling baby soft even the next day... apply some of the Nourish Hand Cream. Once you use our Nourish hand creme, you'll never choose anything else.

Specifically created for Jamberry, the rich and luxurious feeling of the Shea & Aloe enriched moisturizer is perfect for everyday use.

Believe me you are going to want to order a few of the single tube of this cream and have it in your car, at work... the scent is so soft and subtle and your hands (and feet) will feel amazing!

The fun part
