Trendy Tuesday - Pantone Pale Dogwood
Another color I am loving that is on trend this season is the Pantone color, Pale Dogwood - a gorgeous, soft, pale pink color... it had me at pink :) So feminine. Check out this board (click on photo for source)

Macaron Monday... Raspberry Roses for Mother's Day
Mother's Day is coming up are you ready for it? These yummy macarons and gorgeous flowers had me thinking of Mother's Day so I thought they would be good inspiration for this week :)

How does it inspire you? Roses, fruit, pink, ruffles.... Would love to see what you create!
I went with the rose theme and the colors... even picked up the touch of blue from the bowl :) I love florals! Whether they are in my garden, my scrapping papers or on my nails, I am a sucker for pretty flowers. I used the French Flea Market collection by Photo Play.
I fussy cut the flower cluster then layered it up and stitched it. The butterfly is a Unity stamp that of course had to be stapled on :) I also fussy cut the 'enjoy today' from one of the ephemera pieces. Before adhering the cluster, I added some messy thread as well.

Quick and easy upcycled chalkboard and free printable
I always love before and after photos of projects and silly me.... I didn't take the before! I had actually planned on painting this chalkboard frame white (I took out the chalkboard part on the lower half), but then I thought I would leave it as is... at least for now ;)
Truth is, with looking after my grand daughter on the weekends, I don't have a lot of time to do my crafting, so I decided to go the quick and easy route for now.
In the top part of the frame there was a little poster of a horse and it read STABLE.... not quite suitable for the look I am going for. So I changed it out for this saying... it is a FREE printable... can't beat that! For the printable.... go check out this fabulous blog... Mountain View Cottage.
I then replaced the chalkboard with some chicken wire. I will be clipping some of my favorite photos and will switch them out with the seasons.
Check out that cool crate in the photo... for some reason I just LOVE it ;)
And yes, there are bits an pieces of my grand daughter's stuff throughout the house... Makes my heart happy - when it's in it's place.... most of the time - it just looks like a tornado went through! LOL

Macaron Monday... May Flowers
I can't wait to see my little violets, forget-me-nots and other early spring flowers poking their heads out :) Which is why I was drawn to this beautiful photo today.... (click on it for source)

What does it inspire you to create? purple, flowers, tea, gold trim, embossing powder, glitter.... the list goes on. Don't forget to play along.
It inspired me to go simple and challenge myself yet again to craft without pattern paper... takes me longer to do these types of cards than fussy cutting and paper piecing! LOL Some of the flowers have been mounted on foam squares for dimension.
I will definitely be playing with this stamp set more often :)
I couldn't go without sharing some of our gorgeous purple products!
